With lysol in one hand and clorox in the other....

Today I decontaminated my house! I am DONE DONE DONE with the flu! After cleaning and vacuuming Landon's, the girls, and my room... scrubbing the toilets, washing all the sheets, bleaching out trash cans, working on laundry, paying bills, and making a few phone calls all I can say is "Damn, it feels good to have my super mommy cape back on!"

Here's what been going on in MY life....

Saturday.. woke up to rain... tball game got cancelled but we still had two birthday parties to go to. First was Mikayla's friend Lucy from school.

Mikayla had a blast with a her friends from school.  Landon seemed to be feeling better too!

After Lucy's party I went and got a broken nail fixed =) and than ran to the Harley Shop with Mic to pick up a part (and two jackets, a head band, boots, and gloves.. none of which were on our "list").  Then we were off to yet another birthday party! This one was for Riley (Mic's brothers daughter) my niece.  It was at Chuck E Cheese and that is one of the best places in the world (note the sarcasm)... it was so much fun that it made me vomit.  I was a party pooper =)

Two thirty the next morning, Mikayla thought she would join me in being a party pooper! We spent the next 12 hours bonding as we hovered over the toilet.  **Sigh** This flu just won't leave us alone!

Landon went to MawMaw's house while mommy was sick. He made a funny face while MawMaw took a picture and they sent it to me =)

Kennah and Daddy joined me and Mikayla at nap time. It was an AMAZING and much needed nap for all of us.

 Landon came home Sunday and had chicken soup with me and Mikayla for dinner =) I missed him!

Sunday night after the girls went to bed I layed in bed with my boys and watched the Cardinal's game on TV. I was finally feeling better!

Woo Hoo!! Monday morning Mikayla and I woke up feeling like ourselves again! ... and its a good thing cause Monday was Mikayla's school parade and picnic! She walked in the parade and I met her at the end for rides, games, and carnival food!

We stood in line for this ride for 45 minutes, only to be told that Mikayla wasn't tall enough to ride =( I wasn't a happy camper and neither was Mikayla.

We sent Mic this picture telling him that we were having fun spending his money while he was at work =) Aren't we just little snots =)

Since Mikayla wasn't tall enough to ride most of the rides, we got food and played games!

We had a really good time. Glad that we were feeling better and things were getting back to normal! So last night I made chicken and rice while Landon drug everything out of the cabinet! I let him.. just because he's so darn cute!

and he learned how to climb last night! I'm real excited about that... not!

Then when I least expected it I heard  "bbaarrrffff".... yep.. it was Kennah. My poor baby threw up all night.. I felt just horrible for her. She is now sleeping it off (2:00pm on Tuesday). So like I said before.. we are DONE DONE DONE with the flu. If you even THINK you felt a funny twinge in your belly.. stay away from me, my kids, my house, my car, my mailbox, and my blog! =) We paid our dues to Mr. Flu this year!

After another sleepless night with the little man (on night number 3 now) cleaning up puke and poop (TMI, I know) we got up at 7 and got our day started, despite the dark circles.

After day three of the vomiting every 12 hours I called the nurse line at Childrens Hospital... I just didn't feel like throwing up every 12 hours was the flu... I thought maybe something else was wrong. After she asked me 165 questions she said "he hasn't fallen in the last couple of days has he?" and I thought.. Oh crap! I told her yes, that on Monday he fell out of the shopping cart at babies r us and the vomiting started 24 hours later, she told me to take him straight to the ER because he most likely had head trama! Thank God he didn't though! It was just a stomach bug!

Funny how they always seem to perk up when you take them to the ER huh?? But later that night he was throwing up again!



We dropped Mikayla off at school, ran to the bank and Walgreens to get Landon's Rx's...he has been much much better since the meds are in his system now. (The real test will be tonight!)

The guy came and fixed our AC today (WOO HOO!!) and I found a big bridal show to sell Scentsy at!

Picked Mikayla up from school, ran to Target (Only spend $71.00.. be proud of me.. because that NEVER happens!) and took the kids to the park.



It was BEAUTIFUL out! We played for awhile and then came home to relax for the night. Momma is wore out! We have a busy day tomorrow... two birthday parties and a tball game so I better relax while I can! Hope everyone has a good evening!

Once upon a time...

I'm gonna go back.. way back.. to the very begining of the story of "Mic and Stacy" and tell you how my perfectly unperfect little family all came together...

April-11-2004  Mic and I both showed up at a mutual friends house to watch a movie.. (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) Don't remember watching the movie that night.. I was too busy flirting with my future!

November-2004  We found out.. Ready or not, we are gonna have a baby in 8 months!! (and ready we were not!!)

July-9-2005  But thanks to an awesome family (mainly my momma) we were ready to welcome our beautiful bundle of joy, Mikayla Brook, when it was time for her to arrive! This tiny little 6 pound 5 ounce baby girl stole my heart and never gave it back...

Then about 8 months later on March-2-2006 Mic took me down to the landing and we went on carriage ride all through down town... he was acting crazy... like all distant and weird! When we got back to the Old Spaghetti Factory Mikayla, my family, his family, and some of our friends were waiting for us... holding a big sign that said "Will You Marry Me??"

And of course I said YES!! So only six short months later on August-5-2006 we tied the knot! I felt like such a princess that day.. our wedding was SO perfect. It was the day I had dreamt about since I was little.

(This is also when I lost the blue eyes and blonde hair!!)





On February-8-2008  We welcomed with open arms our sweet, caring, crazy, fun, never a dull moment when she's around.. daughter Aubree Makennah. ( I had no clue what I was in for with Kennah in these pictures!)



Then in November-2009 we found out the news that we had been waiting for... we were expecting AGAIN! Due on August 1! and this time IT'S A BOY!!!

After 39 in a half LONG weeks of pregnancy, in which I got WAY too large.. Landon Michael finally graced us with his presence on July-27-2010.  He is perfect in every way and my heart with never be the same.

(and oh boy are they right about the saying "momma's boy")

and then here we are today... very very blessed with three healthy and perfect children that we completely adore and base our entire life around. If you know me at all you know that my kids are my everything!

Oh and Mic and I are still happily married and very much still in love. We have both hit and dodged a few speed bumps.. but he's still the one!!
